For the lonely ghosts and invisible people--

A while ago I had a dream that I was in a car on my way to a concert where a girl I knew was playing with her band. They were playing in some ghost town on the other side of the world, so we picked up and left our homes, wherever they were anyway, and stole away in the middle of the night like vagabonds. It rained a lot, most of us slept the whole way. When we got there, the girl was on top of one of the buildings with her band. What are you doing up there I said. She stepped to the edge, humming this electric blue light and played something on her guitar. That’s when I noticed she was dead. No wonder she looked so far away.

Written in the winter months. Recorded in April, May, and July of 2017 in a few places around Chicago area, but mostly at Reelsounds Chicago (in Skokie). All tracks recorded, mixed, and mastered by Brandon Schnake & Mark “Mouse” Brunner, except for “!!!”, “Backtrack”, and guitar, vocals, and phone sounds on “The Loser Dies”, which were recorded / mixed by Noam Jacobs, and guitar on “Jackswangwaltz”, recorded by Matty Witney in a moment of spontaneity.
